19May07 Victoria’s Secret Semi-Annual Sale: May/June 2007

One of my favorite things to do when i’ve had a bad day is to go buy underwear! Even on a good day, it’s still one of my favorite activities. If you’re like me, then you’re in luck!

The Victoria’s Secret semi-annual sale started TODAY (online only). The sales always begin online a full month before they hit stores. The sale will begin in stores on Tuesday, June 19 (so plan ahead!). They have just about everything on sale including clothing, swimwear, bras, panties, lingerie and beauty products.

Victoria’s Secret sales have products on “sale” (like the bras below) and products on “clearance”. Clearance prices are even cheaper than the “sale” prices.

During the sale, bras are on sale starting at $12.99 and panties are available starting at $3.99. As far as collections go, almost the entire Glamour collection is on clearance. And, most of the Sexy Little Things collection is on clearance.

I noticed that they have every single bra on sale this time! Usually they have most of their newer bras excluded from the sales. This means that during this sale, quite a few of their bras are available at a sale price for the first time ever!

17May07 Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush Lipgloss

Victoria’s Secret new Beauty Rush Lipgloss has been quite a hit. I’ve heard lots of people talk about it how much they love it, but I hadn’t tried it for myself until a few weeks ago. I have to admit, I’m usually a total MAC Cosmetics Lipglass addict, but I decided to finally venture out and try a Beauty Rush Lipgloss. Guess what? I loved it –  so much that I went out and bought three more shades.

The lipglosses come in 24 different colors. Each shade has a different flavor that reflects its name. Every shade is super shiny – in my book, that’s a must-have when it comes to lipgloss. Most of the colors also have a subtle shimmer and/or delicate sparkle in the gloss.

The glosses are surprisingly long-lasting, but not too sticky (so you don’t need to worry about your hair getting stuck to your lips if you wear your hair down!). The glosses are soft and go on easily. Each gloss comes in a tube with an angled tip, making it easy to apply straight from the tube.

Our editor’s pick for best shade and scent is Piece of Cake (tastes like cake batter… mmmm!). But you will just have to go try a few for yourself to decide which one is your favorite.

There was a young angel with wings….
The newest addition to the Victoria’s Secret Angels collection is the brand new Angels Wireless Bra. It is the first wireless bra in the Angels collection.

The ad for the brand new bra, featuring Australian model Miranda Kerr, began running last week. Miranda is the newest Victoria’s Secret Angel.

Angels by Victoria's Secret Wireless Bra (with Infinity Edge Technology)The new wireless bra is lightly lined and has adjustable (but not convertible) straps and a back closure. It features Victoria’s Secret’s Infinity Edge technology along the edges of the cups for the smoothest look possible. The lightweight bra features delicate lace trim along the band and bra straps. It is topped off with an adorable tiny little bow in the center.

Current available colors are an assortment of soft, yet bright sorbet-like shades: pink melon, orange sherbet, lemonade and aqua (all crossdyed). It is also available in the traditional colors of the Angels by Victoria’s Secret line: warm nude, black, cherub pink, ivory and white (all solids).

The Angels Wireless bra is available in the following sizes (price also listed for each size and fabric):
Sizes 34-36B-C; 38C. (Solids: $38, Crossdyed: $42.50).
